The device’s built-in battery allows you to enter a 7- to 15-digit PIN via the integrated keypad before connecting the drive to a USB port. All data transferred to the drive is encrypted in real time using the integrated encryption engine, protecting it from unauthorized access even if the device is lost or stolen.

Wear-resistant keypad
The wear-resistant, epoxy-coated keypad was designed with security in mind. The keypad remains hidden, preventing potential hackers from obtaining clues from frequently used keys.

Automatic locking
The drive automatically locks when disconnected from the host computer or when the USB power supply is disconnected.

Independent user and administrator PINs
This makes it ideal for enterprise deployments. If the user forgets their PIN, the drive can be unlocked with the admin PIN. The administrator can then allow the user to set a new PIN.

Brute-force hacker defense
The datAshur is intelligently programmed to protect against all forms of brute-force attacks. If the user’s PIN is entered incorrectly 10 times in a row, the user’s PIN is erased. All data remains on the device, but access is now only possible with the administrator PIN.
